Parade starts at 9:00 AM on the morning of the 4th – Leaving Owens, headed east on Deuce Of Clubs traveling to White Mountain Rd.

Splash Zone:

It’s a wet and wild time for the kids, starting right after the parade ends. Come to Frontier Park to play in the Splash Zone until the FreedomFest begins at 3:00 pm.

 

FreedomFest at Show Low High School:

After the play time at the Splash Zone, at 3:00 PM head to Show Low High School football stadium for the exhilarating Freedom Fest. This Show Low 4th of July tradition is packed with an assortment of activities for all ages. From food trucks serving up American classics to live music that makes you want to dance, Freedom Fest is the epitome of community celebration.

Children will be captivated by the wide range of games, bounce houses, and face painting stations. Adults can enjoy craft vendors, showcasing local artisans and their creations.

PLUS – The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show!

Watch, laugh, and be amazed and historic lumberjack skills come to life. A must see!

The “Freedom Fest” starts at 3:00 PM on the afternoon of the 4th.

Greer Days is back with a full schedule of events! Join us in kicking off summer with an old-fashioned parade, arts and crafts, tasty treats, a Wild West shootout, silent auction, Lucky Duck race, scavenger hunt, 5K Fun Run and more.

 

FRIDAY & SATURDAY, June 20 & 21, 2025

Friday, June 20
10 AM – 4 PM: Heavenly Vendor Village & KIDZ ZONE 1-3 PM
Located at the Greer Community Center, 74 Main St.

 

3 PM – 4:30 PM: Silent Auction Items Preview at the Community Center
Get an early look at items up for auction, including artwork and nightly stays in Greer and the Phoenix area.

 

4 PM: Opening Ceremony
The Greer Desperadoes help kick off Greer Days with a good old-fashioned western shootout in front of Molly Butler Lodge & Restaurant. Enjoy live music later that evening at Molly’s.

 

Saturday, June 21
7 AM – 5K Family Fun Run
The popular race and walk begins and ends at River Reservoir. Registration is open at 6:30 AM on the day of the event. Online registration begins on May 28th. Entry fee is $25 plus $15 for each additional family member. Each entrant receives a T-shirt (if registered by June 13th), gift bag and finishing medal. Proceeds will benefit the Dan E. Leeds Fire & Emergency Services Scholarship.
9 AM – 4 PM: Heavenly Vendor Village & our new KIDZ ZONE
Located at the Greer Community Center, 74 Main Street.

 

9 AM – 10 AM: Greer’s Great Scavenger Hunt Registration
Round up friends and family members and head over to the Greer Days KIDZ ZONE to register and join all the fun. Entry fee is $10 per team with a prize for the winning team. Registration is 9 – 10 AM and check-in is 2 – 3 PM

 

9 AM – 3 PM: Silent Auction
Place your bids on the many amazing items up for auction at the Greer Community Center. Bidding ends promptly at 3 PM!

 

10 AM: Old-Fashioned Main Street Parade.
Registration forms can be found on our website or on parade day, at the registration desk. Check-in is at 9 AM at Main St. and Wiltbank, where the parade starts. If registering the day of the event, please come early.

10:30 AM (End of Parade) Horse Apple Bingo
A hilarious end to a great parade. Wager on which square the horses may leave their end of-parade gift! Squares can be purchased at Rendezvous Diner.

1 PM: The NEW and IMPROVED Greer Family Duck Race
Adopt a toy duck and race for cash prizes. Ducks will be available for sale Friday and Saturday starting at 9 AM at the Duck Tent in front of the Greer Community Center. Ducks are $5 each or 5 for $20.

 

2 PM – 3 PM Greer’s Great Scavenger Hunt Check-in
All teams must check-in at the KIDZ ZONE and have their results verified.

Parking: This event has a large turnout, please note special parking provisions.

  • Parking is on-site at Mountain Meadow Recreation Complex, 1101 S. Woodland Road
  • On Saturday, June 21, there will also a free shuttle from Blue Ridge High School beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • The last returning shuttle to the school is at 9:30 p.m.
