Hey there, community heroes! With wildfire ‘season’ coming sooner this year, it’s time to gear up and get prepared. Join us at the first-ever White Mountain Wildfire Preparedness Expo for a day packed with fun and essential tips.


Why attend? Recent wildfires both locally and in other states have shown us all how important it is to be prepared.
Our event will have a wide range of interactive booths to help you, and your family get “READY”!
• Interactive demos: Learn about ignition-resistant homes, defensible space, and fire-resistant landscaping.
• Emergency readiness: Assemble your emergency supplies and documents. We will have some ‘starter kits’ for you to get started (while supplies last).
• Communication plans: Build a solid communication plan and sign up for early warning systems.
• Pet planning: Don’t forget your furry friends—get tips on disaster planning for pets.
• Evacuation routes: Know your zone and plan your escape route.

Who’s behind this awesome event? This Expo is a collaborative effort by Navajo County, local public safety agencies, federal and state forestry officials, and generous sponsors, including Navajo County Supervisor Dawnafe Whitesinger, District V.
